业内人士指出，这一制度一旦落实，买家将能够在拍卖前更准确评估预算，减少因低报报价导致的“空欢喜”。但他们也担心部分中介可能转向“征求意向报价”（expression of interest）等不需公开保留价的销售方式。
维州政府表示，将配套加大执法力度，确保中介机构严格遵守新规，并持续评估其效果。政策支持者认为，这将进一步推动房地产市场透明化，使买卖双方在交易前拥有更对等的信息。
